Reflection of light

 Brighter morning and rays of sun makes my home brighter. There are some mornings that i'm just  grateful for the sun. When the sun comes up the area,it has spreaded with streaming light.

Paliam Palace, Kerala

Am taking you to Paliam Palace which is one of the architectural splendours of Kerala.

 This palace was used as official residence of Paliathu Achan who were Prime Ministers to the Kings of Kochi.

 This palace is a mix design of Kerala an Dutch Styles. A circulation space runs along the private area of the building, facilitating air movement, resulting in insulating the interior, making it cooler compared to the peripheral. 

The Government of Kerala has initiated the " Muziris Heritage Project"  to reinstate the historical and cultural significance of the legendary port of Muziris. 

  Paliam Palace is one in to  the  " Muziris Heritage Project". This is being converted in to a museum now. Do visit the place !
