Colorful bliss on canvas : Alamelu Annhamalai

Artists convey their imagination through various art forms, one of them being paintings.

Through this blog today, I would like to introduce to you a young artist/painter, Alamelu Annhamalai from Chennai. At 24, with a degree in Visual Arts from Stella Maris College, Chennai, she has always loved creativity which led her to painting.

 In a short span she has participated in many exhibitions where she has displayed her intricate and  mesmerizing works.


 Recently she conducted her first solo exhibition "A Soldier of Hope" at Lalit Kala Akademi, Chennai,inaugurated by Mr. Rajiv Menon and Mrs. Latha Menon.

Her work is inspired by her interaction with from various walks of life, their behavior, and her own hands on experience from life as such apart from drawing inspiration from other artists.
